Sept. 5, 2013— -- Lamar Odom has reportedly checked himself into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, less than a week after his arrest for allegedly driving under the influence.

The NBA free agent and "Khloe & Lamar" star was arrested Friday at 3:54 a.m. after being stopped in Los Angeles on U.S. Route 101 showing "objective signs of intoxications," according to California Highway Patrol.

Odom, 33, was also unable to perform a field sobriety test, police said. He has not entered a plea and was released on $15,000 bond.

He has not responded to ABC News' requests for comment.

Lamar Odom Arrested for Alleged DUI

Odom is married to "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Khloé Kardashian Odom, 29, and their relationship has been front-page news as of late, fueled by the former L.A. Laker's alleged drug use.

Two days after the DUI charge, Odom's wife posted a message on Twitter, saying, "As much as I wish I were made of steel ... I'm not."

Inside Lamar Odom's Ups and Downs

Odom has a history of drug use. He violated the NBA drug policy twice in 2001 and then admitted to marijuana use in 2003.

Odom, a two-time NBA champion and former Sixth Man of the Year Award winner, is unsigned but had been drawing interest from the Lakers, as well as the L.A. Clippers, where he finished last season.
