Powerball jackpot swells to $865 million after no Monday winner
The winning numbers drawn for Powerball's $800 million prize are 7, 11, 19, 53, 68 and Powerball number 23.
Monday's prize was the sixth-largest in Powerball history. The estimated cash value was $348.8 million.
There were no jackpot winners on Monday, nor any $2 million winners. People in Florida and New York matched five and won $1 million. The prize rolls over to the next drawing with an estimated $865 million, or a cash value of $416.1 million. The next drawing is on Wednesday.
The last time someone won the Powerball jackpot was on Jan. 1, when a ticket in Michigan won a prize worth $842.4 million -- marking the fifth-largest jackpot in the game's history. There have been 35 consecutive drawings since then without a jackpot winner.
Tickets are $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot grew to an estimated $1.1 billion after no tickets matched the winning numbers in Friday night's drawing.
