— -- At the Obamas' first dinner in Cuba Sunday night, the president had a very special Spanish-speaking interpreter: his daughter, Malia.

The light moment was just one of those captured by Chief Official White House Photographer Pete Souza, who posted the image to Instagram today.

Another striking photo from the start of the trip was Obama peering out of the window of Air Force One as it landed in Havana.

This trip marks the first time in nearly 90 years a sitting U.S. president has visited Cuba.

Obama is being joined by his family for the visit as well as a massive U.S. delegation -- 39 members of Congress, including five Republicans, will be following his movements.
