Pack Your Knives for the First-Ever 'Top Chef' Theme Cruise

Aug. 16, 2012— -- Please pack your knives and go . . . on a "Top Chef" theme cruise!

In what's being billed as the first-ever "Top Chef: The Cruise," Bravo Media, Celebrity Cruises, Magical Elves and Rose Tours have teamed up to offer a four-night cruise from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico, with a port call in Key West, Fla. Cruise dates are April 11 - 15, 2013 on the Celebrity Constellation.

Staterooms go on sale Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at 12 p.m. EDT.

The cruise will be hosted by two familiar faces: Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons. Also on board will be past contestants from "Top Chef," "Top Chef Masters" and "Top Chef: Just Desserts." Confirmed chefs include Hubert Keller, Tim Love, Jennifer Carroll, Tiffany Derry, Chris Hanmer, Michael Isabella, Spike Mendelsohn, Hosea Rosenberg, Angelo Sosa and Casey Thompson.

Included in the "Top Chef" cruise is Q&A with Colicchio, Simmons and show talent; quickfire cooking demos and challenges; a one-hour cocktail party; top chef menu options; meals, including 24-hour room service; accommodations gratuities and more.

Prices run from $699 (based on four people in a stateroom) to $5,999 for the penthouse suite with a veranda, with pelnty of price points in between. There's also a beverage package available for purchase, priced from $255 per person which includes Celebrity's entire selection of beer, as well as spirits, cocktails, alcoholic frozen beverages, and wines by the glass up to $12 per serving. Non-alcoholic drinks are also included.

The Celebrity Constellation made its maiden voyage in 2002 and carries about 2,000 passengers. The ship received a $40 million renovation in 2010. Some of the highlights include an Italian-style steakhouse, a wine bar, a martini bar, a gelataria and a spa.
