Virginia live primary results: Army vet Mizusawa will face Democratic Sen. Warner
Army veteran Bert Mizusawa will win the Republican primary for Senate in Virginia, ABC News projects.
Mizusawa defeated business leader Kim Farnington and Marine Corps Reserves Lt. Col. David Williams.

He will face incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, who did not face any primary challengers, in November. The Cook Political Report rates the seat as solidly Democrat, meaning Warner is likely to hold onto the seat.
In Virginia's 7th Congressional District, Republicans retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Douglas Ollivant, businessman Philip Harding and construction business owner Rick Smithers appeared on the ballot and whoever wins the primary will go on to challenge Democratic incumbent Rep. Eugene Vindman in November.
