No Mega Millions Jackpot Winner; Draw Now Jumps to $449 Million
— -- So much for someone snagging that $415 million Mega Millions jackpot: There was no jackpot winner in Friday's draw.
Now, Tuesday night's jackpot will be worth an estimated $449 million, according to Virginia Lottery spokesman John Hagerty, who confirmed that no ticket matching all six winning numbers was drawn Friday night.
The numbers drawn Friday were 49, 45, 20, 42 and 41. The megaball is 14.
Tuesday's jackpot will be the largest jackpot since a $430 million Powerball prize won by a New Jersey family May 7.
No one has won a Mega Millions jackpot since March 8.
The odds of picking the correct numbers on five white balls and one yellow ball are one in 259 million.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states plus the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
