Channeling Aniston in "Friends," Sturino says to unbutton the cardigan from both the top and the bottom and leave it loose.

If you're petite, keep the pattern on the pants and the top simple, so as not to overpower your frame.

Pair wide-cropped pants with a cropped jacket -- or one that hits at the hip to make sure you don’t get swallowed up in the volume in the pants. Make sure to tuck the layer underneath in as well.

Have fun with a bold floral in the pant and pair it with a chic blazer. The blazer gives a little more coverage and adds a touch of polish!
