You may know Dr. Muneeb Shah -- aka the DermDoctor -- from his viral TikToks and other social media posts that offer informative, helpful and fascinating information on everything related to skin. Outside of the internet, he is a board-certified dermatologist and helps to make dermatologic science accessible and actionable for everyday consumers.

In addition to providing advice and entertainment online, Shah started a skin care line, Remedy, which he says he hopes offers helpful solutions to a plethora of dermal issues, from a lack of hydration to taking your makeup at night without breaking down the skin barrier.

Remedy's goals also include offering dermatologist-developed skin care without the usual luxury price points.

The main focus of the line and a mainstay of Dr. Shah's core tenets is protecting the barrier, which is the goal of products like the cleansing balm that helps break down dirt and makeup without stripping the skin of its natural oils and disrupting the barrier.

Shah has plenty of recommendations from Remedy and outside of his own brand, too, such as the bestselling EltaMD sunscreen that's been a favorite of beauty lovers everywhere for years and is available on Amazon.
