Ella Langley has quickly risen among the ranks of country royalty with her smash hit "Choosin' Texas" and current blockbuster tour, and now she's become a new face of another American classic: American Eagle jeans.
"Good Morning America" chatted with Langley via email to discuss some of her own personal style staples, her off-stage uniform and the bedazzled AE jean shorts that kickstarted a lifelong love of the brand.
Langley's style evolution
"Growing up in Alabama, I was a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl," the singer recalled. "My style has definitely evolved over the years, and fashion has become a way I love to express myself both on and off stage."
The country star's performance outfits now are far from basic, usually incorporating the bohemian sensibility Langley possess with classic elements of Western influence throughout.
Fringe trim on pants, bell sleeves and concho detailing on everything help define her as not only an emerging country music star, but a country fashion star, too.
"My day-to-day style is a mix of Western, bohemian, and a little edgy," she confirmed, adding, "And comfort is always important to me too."
Current fashion faves, plus what she looks forward to wearing this fall
Since it's still summer, Langley said her go-to look in her downtime is a simple one.
"When I’m not onstage, my go-to is jeans with a lightweight tank or tee. I’m constantly reaching for AE’s Flutter Sleeve Tee. It has a softer, more feminine feel that’s fun to pair with relaxed denim."
Currently on sale for under $10, now's a great time to stock on this feminine version of the staple white shirt.

Looking ahead to autumn, Langley said her wardrobe plans include mixing her favorite denim with new and old pieces that are easy to throw on to create a full outfit in minutes.
"Once it starts cooling down in the fall, my staples will be oversized button-downs and some fun, vintage coats,," she said.
Langley's favorite jeans
"I’ve been obsessed with AE’s Super Low-Rise Kick Bootcut Jeans ever since I first wore them on set for the campaign shoot," Langley told us. "They have that slightly vintage, western feel that fits so naturally into my style."
She likes to pair this low-slung style with the Daily Fave tank top, a vintage belt and boots for what she describes as a "simple but classic outfit."
The under-$20 staple comes in eight colorways so you can stock your closet with this basic that's easy to wear alone on warmer days or layer once the temperature starts to drop.

Another go-to for rehearsals, touring and more are AE's Low Rise Classic Straight Jean, a style she said she can "actually wear all day."
"I can throw them on with a vintage tee and boots, say hello to everyone in the radio room, and then easily change into my show costume when it is that time," Langley said.

Why Langley chose to work with American Eagle
"I’ve been wearing American Eagle since I was a kid," Langley said of being a longtime fan of the brand. "I remember wearing a pair of AE shorts that my mom bedazzled, and that was the first pair of denim I loved."
American Eagle recently made low-rise jeans the centerpiece of its back-to-school collection, harkening back to the silhouette's early 2000s heyday, when Langley came of age.
"The brand is part of my personal history, so to get to step into all these new chapters of my life still wearing AE and having the opportunity to work with them has been so cool," she said.
