- Look for a cropped hem that hits right above the ankle -- this offers up the perfect flash of skin but won't bisect the leg.
- A straight leg plus a heel is also a pro tip for instantly elongating your legs.
- Another option to instantly elongate is to look for vertical racing stripes on your denim.

- A mid-to-high rise jean. When you raise the rise, you raise the rear! To avoid that super high "mom jeans" look, however, look for something that is right around your naval or up to three inches higher.
- Extra details like back pockets with an angled top can help draw the eye up and create the illusion of a lifted back side.
- Fit matters, and snugger is definitely better than baggy. Avoid that "pancake butt" look by finding a pair of denim that's snug in all the right places.
