Sephora partners with Brother Vellies for stylish accessories launch
Sephora collection and Brother Vellies have joined forces for an incredibly stylish line of accessories.
Together, both brands are rolling out a limited-edition collection of designer makeup bags designed by Brother Vellies founder and creative director, Aurora James.
There are three fashion-forward bags that could easily double as beautiful purses to rock along with your next outfit.
The unique designs of each offering echo the artisanal design practices and techniques of the Brother Vellies brand.
"Over two years in the making, we are thrilled to finally share these bags with the world," said James in a statement. “We could not imagine partnering with any brand but Sephora on this collaboration."
She continued, "We are so proud of their efforts to bring more diversity to their shelves. This coupled with Brother Vellies' goal of keeping artisan design practices and techniques alive, is the type of energy that we continue to support."
While James and Sephora had been in partnership to release the latest accessories line for over two years, both brands also made headlines in 2020 when Sephora became the first major retailer to accept James’ 15 Percent Pledge which called on mainstream retailers to commit 15% of its shelf space to Black-owned brands.
