Gabrielle Union chops off hair for inspiring reason
Is there a hairstyle Gabrielle Union-Wade can't pull off?
The actress recently revealed a series of images of herself rocking a brand new short curly haircut. "So, I did a thing," Union-Wade told fans in a social media post.
Throughout the gallery of Instagram photos, she's seen wearing bright lipstick, gold chain necklaces, hoop earrings and a ruched polka dot dress along with her chic new hair look.
In addition to her beautiful new 'do, Union-Wade also sent an inspiring message to fans about showing off a fresh haircut.
"The movies always show women cutting their hair when all is lost but I wanted to know the feeling of making a change when things are gravy," Union-Wade said. "It hits different and its [sic] foreign to me but I heart this new new." She closed the caption with hashtags #SummerChop #FlawlessChop and #FlawlessCut.
Since posting, the "L.A.'s Finest" star has received over 1 million likes with fans calling out how "gorgeous" and "amazing she looks."
Actress Logan Browning commented, "You know I love this so much! Especially the caption!"
One day before Union-Wade showed off her latest look, she was seen in Harlem with a longer cropped bob hair look.
Union-Wade has shared short haircuts in the past, most notably in 2019, but her new look is one of the shortest she's shared in a while and fans are hair for it.
