Viola Davis looked stunning at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
The actress wore a one-shoulder, black velvet and white satin paneled dress by Alberta Ferretti with Forevermark diamond necklaces to the glamorous event Sunday night.
However, perhaps her biggest style statement of the night came when she changed into some more comfortable, albeit equally stylish, footwear to present the award for best supporting actor in a drama series to "Game of Thrones'" star Peter Dinklage.
She changed from her heels into silver and black platform sneakers by luxury designer Hogan.
She's worn the kicks before -- to a film screening in April 2019.
Emmys viewers took to social media to comment on how much they loved her switch for comfort.
Sneakers and couture is definitely a trend we can get behind.
