May 21, 2010— -- Few things that can get hundreds of people to get up just after sunrise, file into Central Park in New York City and scream their hearts out, except the Jonas Brothers performing with Demi Lovato.

That was the scene this morning as "Good Morning America" kicked off its Summer Concert Series with two of the hottest acts in the business.

Just after they finished taping their next hit movie, "Camp Rock 2," the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato kicked off their own summer tours with the "GMA" performance.

Lovato said she was thrilled to be part of sequel because the best part "was getting everyone back together again.

"We all had such a great time filming the first one and we were all like family when we came back for the second one," Lovato said. "So it was kind of like a reunion. It really felt like summer camp being back with your friends again."

The Jonas Brothers, Lovato and others from "Camp Rock 2" announced that they would be going out on tour this summer.

"We are going to be bringing the movie to life everywhere we go, and we are really excited about it," Kevin Jonas told "GMA" last week. "There is new music from the film, new music from our television show this summer and new Demi music."

This will be the first tour for Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato as a couple.

When asked if they think it will make touring easier since they are now dating, Joe replied, laughing, "We don't know yet" but said "this should be fun."

If today's performance was any indication, there's not much to worry about.

"It's going to be a summer like no other," Kevin Jonas said on stage today.
