TripAdvisor users rank the world's top 10 museums

— -- TripAdvisor, one of the world's leading travel sites, announced reviewers' picks for top museums as part of its Travelers' Choice Awards.

The site picked the top 25 museums in the U.S. and the top 25 in the world based on travel reviews.

"As a traveler, exploring a famous museum or discovering a new one can be the highlight of a trip," said Brooke Ferencsik, senior director of communications for TripAdvisor. "This year's Travelers' Choice Museum award winners belong on your must-visit list."
