Miami Dolphins linebacker  Jaelan Phillips announced Wednesday that the knee injury he suffered on Monday night will end his season. Phillips announced in a statement posted to Instagram that the injury to his knee "will require reconstructive surgery." This is the second straight year that his season will end early because of injury. He suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in a game against the New York Jets last November. "I bleed for this game and my team. I'm devastated to have to miss another season, but my resolve has never been stronger... I'll be back," Phillips wrote in the Instagram post that featured his statement. Phillips first injured his knee in the second quarter of the Dolphins' 31-12 loss to the Tennessee Titans and left the game.
