In a follow-up post, she announced that she would cancel her scheduled performance at the festival's Washington, D.C., stop on Sunday.

\"I'm sorry to confirm that I won't be playing all things go in DC today,\" she wrote. \"I love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted so I'm sorry to those who will be disappointed by this. I hope you'll all give me another chance in the future.\"

She continued, \"Thank you to all those who listen and care. To all the people that love to be mean online, pls give me a day off.\"

ABC News has reached out to Young's representatives, but did not immediately hear back.

Her onstage incident came one day after she canceled a planned performance at Audacy's We Can Survive concert at New Jersey's Prudential Center on Friday.

A former student at the Brit School for Performing Arts and Technology, Young first rose to prominence with her 2024 viral hit \"Messy,\" which reached No. 1 in the UK, Australia, Belgium, Croatia and Ireland and gained massive traction on TikTok, boosting her international profile.

She was nominated for the Brit Award for Rising Star in 2021 and Best Pop Act in 2025, and won the Ivor Novello Award for Rising Star that same year.
