Opening statements to begin in Tupac Shakur murder trial

Opening statements begin Monday in the trial of Duane “Keffe D” Davis, a former Los Angeles gang leader accused of killing rapper Tupac Shakur in 1996. In his memoir, Davis repeatedly admitted to his alleged role in Shakur’s death. He now insists his confessions were lies and has pleaded not guilty.
