Tommy John, the former MLB pitcher whose name became synonymous with a groundbreaking elbow surgery, has died at 83. John pitched for the Cleveland Guardians, the Chicago White Sox, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Yankees, the California Angels and the Oakland Athletics.
