NOAA Hurricane Hunters collect data on Hurricane Isaias from the sky

How do scientists get data from the inside of a storm? NOAA’s Hurricane Hunters fly straight into them. The administration’s Hurricane Hunters use their aircraft to gather measurements that can help improve forecast models, NOAA flight director Kerri Englert explained.
