Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell said Tuesday he has not turned in vetting documents to Mitt Romney's presidential campaign, one of the first steps to becoming a vice presidential running mate. "Nope," McDonnell told Chuck Todd during an interview on "The Daily Rundown"  when asked if he "has had to turn anything over to the Romney campaign." "But I'm going to do everything I can to help him in Virginia." McDonnell, who has campaigned with Romney in Virginia and is considered a possible vice presidential candidate, has been coy about his chances to join the national ticket, but said the speculation was "flattering."
