Stewart then publicly said that Apple's public relations team was \"mad\" about her tweets and that this very iPad was given to her by Steve Jobs himself.
However, while the rush of tweets went viral very quickly -- the first one has over 1,600 retweets -- Stewart said they were taken out of context. One tweet, if we understand it correctly, says she didn't want to deal with it silently.

When contacted by ABC News, Stewart's publicists said she did not have any further comment on the iPad situation.
Stewart is a known techie, attending tech conferences and describing herself as an \"experimental entrepreneur.\" However, she seems to think that iPads should be unbreakable.

Good news for Ms. Stewart is that some new iPads are on the way and expected to be released by Apple next month. Perhaps she'll get Apple to bring her one after all, though a protective case might be a sound investment.
