Poulter thinks the cat could have been scooped up by a snow plow and tossed to the roadside, where it may have been in shock, he said.

The cat, who Poulter said is a chubby kitty, has been staying at Little Brook Farm, an animal rescue facility where Poulter volunteers.

The cat seems healthy and is going to the vet today, farm owner Lynn Cross told ABC News.

\"He's healthy, bright, alert and adorable,\" Cross said. \"The only thing is he's not neutered. We're still looking for the owner.

\"The farm has received dozens of calls asking for the cat,\" Cross added. \"I encourage anyone who wants them to go adopt another cat for Valentine's Day. There are millions of cats who are just as cute and are desperate for a home.\"
