\"Finished Hallows 9 yrs ago today,\" wrote Rowling. \"Celebrated by graffiti-ing a bust in my hotel room. Never do this. It's wrong.\"

Rowling also attached a photo of her \"graffiti\" to her Twitter post. Along with her signature, Rowling left this message: \"Finished Writing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in this room (552) on 11th Jan. 2007\" on the marble bust.

The Balmoral hotel, the Scottish hotel where Rowling stayed, renamed Rowling's room as the J.K. Rowling suite in her honor. According to the hotel's website, the J.K. Rowling suite contains Rowling's writing desk and the signed bust. It also features a brass owl door-knocker.

Although it has been years since Rowling has released a children's book, she said last November that she will \"definitely\" write more children's books in the future.
