Popular 'Super 80s' Sent to Airplane Boneyard for Retirement

Once the most common plane in the American Airlines fleet, the MD-80s or "Super 80s" are being phased out. This week, twenty of them were sent to the airplane boneyard in Roswell, NM to be sold or scrapped. They landed one at a time in the desert for thei
