The controversial Grammy winner had more than a few words of praise for the president-elect.

“Not only did I not vote, but there were a lot of things I actually liked about Trump’s campaign,\" he said. \"His approach was f***ing genius -- because it worked.\"

West also had a blunt message about race relations. \"Specifically to black people,\" he said. \"Stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, ok.\"

During a meandering speech, West also touched on how he wants to run for office in 2020, saying that President Obama, former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson, as well as Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and former president Bill Clinton should all be \"consultants.\"
