\"It's a love letter to Puerto Rico,\" Miranda told CNN of the song.

\"Puerto Ricans, that's 3.5 million American citizens, just like Texas, just like Florida,\" he said. \"I know there's a tendency for fatigue because we've just been through two hurricanes. And we can't be fatigued when it comes to our fellow Americans.\"

Although Miranda is keeping details of the song and the full list of collaborators under wraps, CNN reports that the song will be out on Oct. 6.
