The term \"Summer Loving\" was made famous in the song \"Summer Nights,\" sung by Travolta and Newton-John, where the duo tell their friends about meeting each other during summer break from high school.

Travolta and Newton-John both had stellar careers after \"Grease\" was released, with Travolta starring in \"Look Who's Talking\" and \"Pulp Fiction.\" Newton-John also had a solid singing career.

The 1978 classic had a sequel starring Michelle Pfeiffer, along with other adaptations over the years, including a live movie that aired on TV.
