Lots of people on social media were very excited to hear about the new transgender-themed sneakers. Children's author Rachel Q. Lyons wrote on Twitter, \"Thank You @Converse for making #trans PRIDE shoe this year! My 11-year-old shoe son is ecstatic.\"

Plus size fashion blogger Alysse Dalessandro also pointed out on social media that there's actually a full Converse x Pride collection that features a variety of transgender-inspired sneakers.
