The court earlier this month also ordered prosecutors to disclose details of communications between former national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak, including transcripts of phone calls.

Prosecutors, however, haven't released the transcripts of Flynn's conversations with Kislyak in the new filing. The document does mention the judge's order related to Flynn's conversations with Kislyak but doesn't address the order in its response.

Releasing transcripts of collected phone surveillance approved by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court such as Flynn's phone calls with Kislyak, is unheard of, according to Seamus Hughes, an expert on national security court cases at George Washington University.

The court had also ordered the government to release an unredacted version of parts of the Mueller report related to Flynn's case, but the government responded that only limited remaining redactions were in the report, such as sourcing of information, such as references to grand jury subpoenas.

Flynn pleaded guilty in December 2017 to a charge of lying to federal investigators about his transition-period discussions with Kislyak. Flynn has not been sentenced, as his his cooperation in another federal investigation remains ongoing. A sentencing date has not been set.
