On Wednesday evening, both Facebook and Instagram announced the issues had been solved

\"Earlier today, some people and businesses experienced trouble uploading or sending images, videos and other files on our apps and platforms,\" Facebook wrote in a tweet. \"The issue has since been resolved and we should be back at 100% for everyone. We're sorry for any inconvenience.\"

This morning's outages follows previous incidents in March of this year and November of 2018. However, those involved full outages, whereas problems on Wednesday morning appeared to specifically involve media content.
