Aside from her son's obvious joke, the post has almost 1 million views.

Ryder isn't the first celebrity son to give their mom or dad a hard time in the best way on social.

Rob Lowe's son, Johnny, has built a reputation on Instagram for his pointed comments immediately after his dad's selfies go live.

Last month, Rob posted a sweaty, post-workout picture along with the words: \"If you’re not wet from your workout, you’re probably not working hard enough!\"

Johnny was quick with a rejoinder: \"The subtle art of taking a selfie in front of ur Emmy nominations.\"

In another post, Rob posted a topless pic at the beach and wrote, \"Weekend.\"

Johnny replied, \"Plz god no.\"

If you can't make fun of your parents, who can you make fun of?
