\"I wouldn’t pigeonhole Tom’s favorite’ smoothie as a pre- or post-workout drink,\" TB12 nutritionist Tiffany Chag told \"GMA.\" \"For some it can be a meal replacement. It definitely has enough calories, but it’s really dependent on the person.\"

Tom Brady's Favorite Smoothie

5 ounces almond milk and 5 ounces hemp milk

Chag says almond milk is a great dairy alternative, and it’s high in calcium.

1/2 cup frozen bananas

1/4 cup walnuts

Walnuts are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids and, according to Chag, are a decent source of protein.

1 cup blueberries

1 tsp chia seeds
