She also came to Kim Kardashian's defense when British journalist and TV personality Piers Morgan made derogatory comments about Kardashian for a nude selfie. Ratajkowski said she chooses to take a stance on certain things because she knows what she believes in.

Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power. Kavanaugh’s confirmation as a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States is a message to women in this country that they do not matter. I demand a government that acknowledges, respects and supports women as much as it does men.

Ratajkowski said the worst advice she's ever received has been not to trust herself, and while she is open to hearing other opinions, she stays grounded in her beliefs.

\"I think that being smart is only about being curious and listening to people, so I never like to say, 'I know it all' because I don't feel that way,\" she explained. \"But there is a really important distinction between that and being protective of valuing yourself and what you do know, and that has been the journey for me in my 20's.\"
