Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood advise to 'be smart'
They shared a message about staying safe even as places are opening up.
Yearwood and Brooks remarked that although public places will start to open, it doesn't mean people have to venture out into public if they feel uncomfortable.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee unveiled a plan last week to begin to reopen businesses across the state, including restaurants and retail stores, requiring them to operate at 50% capacity.
We're taking a careful, measured approach to safely reopen Tennessee's economy - starting with our restaurant and retail industries.

\"We're hearing that pretty soon we'll be starting to kind of slowly open everything back up, so we are asking you, Tennessee, to keep it going -- to be smart and to be careful and to be diligent,\" Yearwood said in the PSA.
\"Remember it's your choice. Just because things are open doesn't mean you have to partake in them,\" Brooks shared. \"So stay smart, stay strong.\"
