The film, previously titled \"Fonzo,\" focuses on Capone's life after 10 years in prison and the effects of his declining health. The notorious Chicago-based gangster was known for the multimillion-dollar crime empire he ran during the Prohibition era.
Hardy also recently shared a poster for the film on his Instagram.
The film also stars Kyle MacLachlan, Matt Dillon, Jack Lowden and Linda Cardellini among others. Check out the trailer for the upcoming drama, out May 12.
