This special event is the first crewed space mission to be launched from U.S. soil since 2011. Launch will take place at approximately 4:33 p.m. ET. Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley are the two veteran astronauts headed to the International Space Station.

Pre-launch coverage, including Clarkson's performance, is airing live on SpaceX's website, NASA Television and the agency’s website, as well as numerous other platforms including ABC News.
