He also promised the show will be \"full of surprises.\" Tickets for the singer's Las Vegas residency are on sale on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. PT.

During his \"GMA\" interview, the R&B singer spoke about his upcoming new music.

\"I'm actually in the process of completing the album, and I'm getting ready to drop some new music and new visuals,\" he said. \"It's just been a process and just wanted to make sure you guys were ready for it.\"

He also has some exciting news in his personal life. The singer confirmed that he and his girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea are expecting a baby.

Usher already has two sons, Usher Raymond V, 12, and Naviyd Ely Raymond, 11, from a previous relationship.

He said his family is \"elated\" at the baby news. \"Babies always bring such joy to a family and [I'm] really, really excited for my young one,\" he added.
