\"As a mom of two active boys in hybrid school, one who has numerous chronic diseases, I'm particularly sensitive to what it takes,\" Carpineto told \"GMA.\"
She started a new job in November after being unemployed for seven months. Carpineto had been laid off by her former employer of 15 years. \"Balancing a new job, job searching, home school and parenting is tough,\" she said.
Her new employer has been supportive of her using her LinkedIn profile to enact change for good, she told \"GMA.\"
\"Many people [reached] out to thank me for giving them a voice and representing the struggles of moms,\" Carpineto said. She hopes people reach out to her on LinkedIn for support in a tough job market and \"most of all, to not have guilt for making the right choice for you and your family.
\"Strength and a positive mindset really do help,\" she said.
