The actress' parents strong marriage and how it affected her is one of the many topics she touches on in \"Unfinished.\"

Chopra Jonas also reveals more about her relationship with her husband, singer Nick Jonas. She writes that \"not much surprises\" her as much as he did.

\"He's just a very self-assured man and, you know, that is surprising with guys,\" she shared with a laugh.

While appearing on \"GMA,\" the actress also shared some details on her upcoming film with Mindy Kaling and what made her want to collaborate on the project.

\"When I joined Hollywood about five, six years ago I didn't really see a lot of leading parts for people who look like me, specifically girls,\" she shared. \"So I called Mindy and I said, 'Mindy, want to do a movie together?' She's a writer that I admire tremendously and now we're making the movie with Universal Pictures.\"
