Clarkson is in the process of divorcing Blackstock, her husband of seven years. She filed for divorce in June of 2020.

The singer previously revealed on her show that the hardest part of her divorce is its impact on her children. Last year she also revealed that she's consulted child therapists to help her young children adjust to the split.

\"We have a lot of help as far as therapists or child psychologists 'cause we want to do it right … Everyone's sad and it's OK to be sad,\" she told Extra in October 2020.
