\"Let me take you on a journey,\" she says on the album, \"one that sheds the skin of my past and embodies the person I am today.\"

Also at midnight, alongside the \"Confident\" singer's seventh studio album drop, she unveiled the visuals for the lead single \"Dancing With the Devil.\" The music video, which she co-directed, is a reenactment of the night she suffered a near-fatal drug overdose in 2018.

It opens with Lovato laying in a hospital bed, hooked up to wires. In between cuts of her singing from the bed, moments from that fateful night play out, starting with a scene of her downing shots and drinks at a bar.

The video ends with the 28-year-old singer unveiling a neck tattoo that reads \"survivor\" as she walks away from the hospital bed.
