Since its publication, the \"50 Shades of Grey\" trilogy has become the fastest selling paperback of all time. It also inspired the movies, starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, which have grossed $1.3 billion.
\"I think readers who come to my book signings and say, 'I haven't read a book in 37 years,' and you go, 'Wow.' And now they're voracious readers,\" James told \"GMA\" of the success of her books. \"Getting people to pick up a book was just extraordinary. And anybody who writes wants to be read. That's ultimately why you do it.\"
When asked if \"Freed\" would be the end of the \"Fifty Shades\" series, James said you never know.
