Since posting, Shields' adorable mother and daughter tattoo photos have received around 50,000 likes on Instagram, with many fans commenting on how sweet this moment was.

The duo's tattoos come shortly after Shields revealed that her daughter wore her 1998 Golden Globes gown to her high school prom about a week ago.

\"I thought it was a special night when I was nominated for a Golden Globe and wore this dress in 1998, but nothing could have prepared me to see my daughter wearing it to her prom, proud mama,\" Shields said in a post.

Shields also shared with her followers in another post that her daughter played the guitar for her graduation celebration.

In addition to Rowan, 18, the \"Blue Lagoon\" actress also has another daughter, Grier Hammond, 15, with her husband, screenwriter Chris Henchy.
