\"King Richard,\" which arrives in theaters and is available to stream on HBO Max on Nov. 19, focuses on the sisters' success stories and the impact their father, Richard Williams, had in molding them into the tennis greats they are.

Will Smith plays their father in the film, and both sisters have openly praised his performance.

Serena Williams told Entertainment Weekly that she hopes the film will help show her daughter what her own upbringing was like.

\"She gets to see what Mommy was like,\" the tennis star shared in an interview for the outlet's December issue. \"I always wondered how I would explain my life. Like, how will I even start that conversation? This is the perfect way.\"
