In addition to her revealing video, Pinkett Smith captioned the post saying, \"Mama’s gonna have to take it down to the scalp so nobody thinks she got brain surgery or something. Me and this alopecia are going to be friends … period!\"

Since posting, the actress' honest moment has received more than 1 million views with one person commenting, \"Gorgous as always... it's your tiara spot!\"

In July, Pinkett Smith wowed fans with her new cut, sharing that her daughter Willow Smith inspired her to do it.

In an Instagram post sharing her new look with fans, she said, \"My 50's are bout to be Divinely lit with this shed.\"
