While Gellar was out with her friends, her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., was at home documenting all the flowers she received for her birthday.

\"Ladies, we've got to talk about y'all needing flowers on your birthday,\" he said in an Instagram video, joking that women are never around to receive them upon delivery and it's the man's job to do so.

\"You know what guys get for their birthday from their friends?\" he jokingly asked. \"A text.\"

Gellar wasn't hearing it. \"But I NEED them,\" she replied.

Gellar and Prinze Jr. married in September 2002 and share two children, daughter Charlotte, 12, and son Rocky, 9.
