Among the many artists joining the Foos in London for the tribute are Blink-182's Travis Barker, Queens of the Stone Age's Joshua Homme, AC/DC's Brian Johnson, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, Metallica's Lars Ulrich, viral kid musician Nandi Bushell, Chrissie Hynde and Martin Chambers of Pretenders, The Police's Steward Copeland, Liam Gallagher, pop star Kesha, Rush's Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, Nile Rodgers, Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, Wolfgang Van Halen and Joe Walsh's James Gang.

Grohl's daughter, Violet, and Hawkins' son, Shane, are also on the bill, as is Taylor's cover band Chevy Metal.

Hawkins died on March 25 at 50 years old.

The second tribute concert will be held at Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Sept. 27.
