FDNY paramedic who responded to 9/11 to be laid to rest after slaying

Lt. Alison Russo-Elling, a nearly 25-year veteran of the New York City Fire Department, was stabbed approximately 19 times in an "unprovoked attack" while on duty, authorities said.
