ATLANTA -- Ohio State star receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. was knocked out of Saturday's loss to Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinals at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl with a concussion. Buckeyes coach Ryan Day said Harrison was put into concussion protocol after he took a massive hit from Georgia defensive back Javon Bullard in the end zone with less than a minute left in the third quarter. He was examined by the medical staff and remained on the Ohio State sideline but did not reenter the game. Referees initially penalized Bullard for targeting, but the call was overturned upon review. "I was told that it was not targeting, that [Harrison] didn't take a shot to the head, which is hard for -- I didn't see it, so I don't know," Day said.
